f, looking right at me. I picked it off the shelf and nervously asked the clerk how much it was…$25.00 she replied. I acted like I might not take it for about one millisecond — and then said. “I’ll take it!”

So here it is: A Treasury of Great Recipes by Mary and Vincent Price.
Yes, Vincent Price, scary actor…Thriller voice over…you know who I am talking about. This book was published in 1965 and has menus and recipes from some of the great restaurants around the world. Most of them I have never heard of, but no matter, they come from some of my favorite food countries. The menus are great, and prices even wilder. How about Alaska King Crab Meat Cocktail at Sardis’s for $1.75. I’ll take two, thank you.
I have been looking for this book since I went with friends to a dinner called “Eating Vincent Price”. The menu included only recipes from this book. It was great fun and the food fantastic. Now I get to eat Vincent Price at home. I plan to start with his Bloody Mary.
